The 1st joint application period has ended – Diak was the most popular UAS
There were 60 study places available in total in Diak’s Degree Programmes on Social Services and Nursing at Helsinki campus. Both programmes attracted applicants very well: the number of total applicants increased over 100 percent from spring 2020.
1 267 applicants in total chose Diak and 459 of those placed Diak as their top selection.
The total number of applicants per programme are:
- Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Health Care, Nursing: 592 applicants
- Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Social Services: 775 applicants
The entrance exams
The joint application continues with entrance exams in March and April. Invitations for the entrance examination are sent out via email. Both programmes have their own entrance exams and related arrangements, of which you can read more on our website.
Admission results
Admission results are published 4 June 2021 at the latest. The results are announced in our web page. We do not publish the names of the selected students.
All candidates will receive a result email from the Studyinfo portal. All candidates will also receive information of the results via email.
The place offered for a candidate must be accepted by 16 July 2021 (GMT+3/EEST).
The second joint application
The second joint application is organised between 17 and 31 March 2021. This spring, 12 bacherol level study programmes and two master programmes taught in Finnish are offered in the second phase. There is also a separate application period between 17 and 31 March 2021 for two master programmes offered in English. More information on our webpage.
