DiakHub Eastern Finland is now Diak Eastern Finland
In the 2022 campus structure reform, it was decided to develop Diak’s Pieksämäki campus operations into a mobile model. At that time, Diak’s operations in Eastern Finland were named DiakHub Eastern Finland. The name was intended to reflect the seamless integration of education and development, as well as the mobile operational model.
“In recent years, activities in Eastern and Central Finland have been developed towards a more multi-location approach. Now that Diak is heading into a new phase with a fresh brand and an evolving strategy, it’s also time to assess and clarify our brand hierarchy. Diak is a well-known brand, so for many reasons, it is simpler to bring operations under one identity,” says Diak’s CEO and Rector Elina Juntunen.
The name change takes effect immediately.
