Study modules
Our open UAS features study modules from all Diak faculties and degree programmes. They are organised
- at different campuses, as a daytime or blended learning option
- online – a flexible option that allows you to study wherever you are based.

Individual study modules
The individual catalogue of study modules contains examples of the open UAS offering. The campus and method of delivery vary from semester to semester.
For the current offering, see the Open UAS enrolment page.
In addition to the listed courses, you can take virtually any of the study modules from the curricula of our Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes, with the exception of the work placement period and the thesis project, which are usually completed as part of one of our regular degree programmes.
If you are unable to find the study module you are looking for, check out further availability from the degree programme curricula.
Semester/competence packages
The open UAS offering includes predetermined packages that correspond to studies taken in the first year of our Bachelor’s degree programmes.
They are especially designed for learners who are looking to study towards a degree, but can also be taken to supplement your existing competencies. If you are considering applying to one of our degree programmes via open UAS, find out more about path studies at Diak.
In addition, the study module offering contains set modules, or competence packages, which concentrate on specific competence areas. They are a great way to update or develop your existing competencies.
For the current offering of study packages, see the Open UAS enrolment page.
If you can’t find a suitable package from the course offering, our open UAS guidance counsellor can help you identify courses to match your aims.
