The quality system of Diaconia University of Applied Sciences is audited between 1st and 2nd of September 2020 by external auditor team set up by the Finnish Education Evaluation Centre Karvi. The evaluation round is a retake, because Diak’s quality system did not meet the requirements of the last audit in 2017.

The Executive Board of Diaconia University of Applied Sciences decided in its meeting on 25th of August 2020 to continue preparations to shrink Diak’s campus network from five to three campuses.

Despite the refusal of European Commission’s funding, 3IN Alliance will continue its collaboration towards a word where no one is left behind.

The autumn semester has started in an exceptional manner at Diak campuses. In the autumn semester there will be more distance learning than normally. Some courses are organised as contact teaching.

General exam retakes will be organised on campuses. Registration for the exams will be done by filling in the electronic registration form.

Diak has started to take down some of the restrictions caused by corona virus. The fall semester will start in August with a combination of distance learning and classroom studies.

In Diak’s Open UAS you can attend almost all the studies in our BA and MA degrees.

The spring’s graduation ceremony on the 29th of May has been cancelled in all Diak campuses. The ceremony will be postponed to the fall due to the current conditions.
