Anna-Maija Ohlsson has been appointed as the Director of Strategy and Impact at Diak. Ohlsson will begin in her new role on January 13, 2025.

Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in Asset-based Community Development was organised on Helsinki campus at the beginning of June.
The Digital Competence BIP (Blended Intensive Programme) gathered students and teachers from four European countries to study the opportunities and obstacles digitalization creates for different target groups. BIP is a fun way to learn and meet new people, the student participants say.
The Diak-coordinated DVINE project aims to develop curricula, pedagogical competence and learning environments of partner institutions in Nepal and Vietnam. In a globalizing educational scene, the value of alternative ways of knowledge and cultural understanding is in an ever-growing role. Maintaining and nurturing partnerships like those gained in the DVINE can give important insight into the global educational scene and strengthen networks for all participants.
Zekki digital service has been elected as the best social innovation of Europe amongst 565 other participants. Zekki is a great example of co-creation which is very characteristic to Diak. Digital service has been developed as cooperation of the university of applied sciences and 12 associations.
Zekki is one of the 10 finalists who are competing for the win of the European Union’s Social Innovation Competition (EUSIC). At Diak developed Zekki digital service promotes young people’s wellbeing and seek for social services.
