Diak ambassadors

Would you like to have the possibility to introduce your field of study and everyday student life to others? Are you eager to show why Diak is the best place to study? Become a Diak ambassador!

What is it like to study at Diak? How to choose your field of study? What is student life like? In what kind of city do you study? Diak ambassadors are students from various fields from Diak who share information about studying, degree programs, study routines and student life on Diak’s social media channels, during school visits and in events.

Being a Diak ambassador requires commitment for one semester at a time. We encourage student ambassadors to do both social media content and school visits, but you can also choose only one of these activities.

As a Diak ambassador you get to

  • post social media content (feed posts, stories, reels) on Diak’s Instagram channel
  • tell about Diak during school visits (remote or face-to-face)
  • represent Diak’s students at events
  • receive training to become a Diak ambassador
  • gain experience in communication and marketing
  • receive a financial reward for your duties
  • network and have fun with other student ambassadors.

Requirements and hopes for a Diak ambassador

  • you are studying at Diak – we are looking for Diak ambassadors from all study fields at Diak
  • you are ready to commit to the assignment for the entire semester and to agree to follow the assignments
  • you would already have some experience especially in using the Instagram channel, creating stories and reels
  • you have a happy, positive mind and a genuine desire to pass on your experiences of studying at Diak to those who are considering their place of study or study field.

Commission

  • The commission for a school visit is 80 euros / school visit (face-to-face) or 60 euros / school visit (remotely or face-to-face with a friend). Possible travel expenses will be covered. You will receive a ready-made presentation material for the visit. The school visits are currently conducted remotely but could later on be organised face-to-face as well.
  • The commission for a week of social media posts is 70 euros / week. One social media week includes 1 Instagram post (introduction) and minimum 5 IG stories / day posted for 3-5 times a week. A maximum of 3 weeks per one person can be booked during one semester. You can get ready-made ideas for social media week’s content, but they are planned and created by ambassadors themselves.
  • The commissions for event representation are determined on an event-by-event basis.
  • You will receive your commission after you have sent a tax card and a commission form. If you are doing multiple ambassador tasks during the semester it is recommended you pile them up in one commission form before sending it.
  • You can receive an ambassador work certificate if you wish so.
  • All ambassadors will also be given a Diak t-shirt to be worn during school visits (student overalls can also be worn).
