Continuous learning
The changing world of work challenges experts to continuously update their skills. Continuous learning responds to the need to develop and update skills at different phases/ stages of your life and career. Developing your skills is a meaningful way to develop yourself, supplement your professional skills and expand the knowledge capital of your work community.
After graduation, at different stages of your career, your own career planning continues. Polytechnics and universities offer courses, which can be found on their respective websites. After your Bachelor’s degree, it is possible to build your competence further at various institutions e.g. at the Open University of Applied Sciences, at a vocational Teacher Training College, through specializing in a particular field of education or completing a bachelor’s degree in another field.
After a master’s degree, it is also possible to proceed to doctoral studies. This requires prior preparation during your YAMK studies. Read more on the Xamk blog.
